Grab Rental Car Terms and Conditions Welcome to Grab Rental Car! Below are our terms in a simple and fair manner. By booking or renting a car from us, you accept the following Terms & Conditions that constitute the Rental Agreement between you, either the "Renter" or "Driver," and Car Rentals Way, the "Company." 1. Eligibility and Documentation 1.1. Driver Requirements Minimum Age: The main driver and any additional drivers listed must be over the age of 21. A surcharge may apply for those between the ages of 21-24. Required Documents: You must present a valid, non-expired driver's license held for at least one year and a major credit or debit card in the primary renter's name for the security deposit. International Rentals: For rentals out of the country, the renter must have an International Driving Permit together with his home country license. 2. Vehicle Use and Responsibilities 2.1. Permitted Use The rented vehicle shall be operated only by the authorized drivers named in the Rental Agreement. The vehicle shall be used in a lawful manner and is never permitted to: Subleasing or letting the vehicle to any other party. Driving off-road, on unpaved surfaces, or in areas where road conditions could damage the vehicle (unless the vehicle is a designated 4x4 and the area is authorized). Towing, racing, or using the vehicle for commercial delivery services, except where specifically authorized. 2.2. Vehicle Condition and Maintenance You are required to take reasonable care for the vehicle: check fluids, tire pressure and lights when renting for an extended period. You are responsible for returning the vehicle in the same condition as received, accounting for normal wear and tear. Any new damage, loss, or theft during the rental period is your financial responsibility, subject to the protection options you select. 2.3. Fuel Policy: Our standard policy is Full to Full. The vehicle will have a full tank upon pick-up and must be returned full. If returned with less fuel, you will be charged for the missing fuel plus a reasonable refueling service fee. 3. Payment, Deposit, and Fees 3.1. Security Deposit An amount to cover a refundable security deposit will be authorized (held) on your card at the time of pick-up. The security deposit serves as a protection against late return fees, excess cleaning, or deductibles for damages. This hold is released by Grab Rental Car upon a satisfactory return, but the time it takes to show in your account is dependent on your bank. 3.2. Additional Fees The Hirer shall be liable for any penalties arising during the rental period, including: Traffic citations, parking tickets, or unpaid tolls, plus a processing administrative fee from Grab Rental Car. Excessive Cleaning Fee: Applied for those vehicles that require special cleaning; for example, removal of pet hair, strong smells such as cigarette smoke, or excess mud/sand. Absolutely no smoking is permitted in any of our vehicles. Late return fees are levied hourly or daily after a normal grace period. 4. Cancellation and Amendments 4.1. Cancellation Policy Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to pick-up will be fully refunded minus a small processing fee. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to pick up may incur a fee equal to one day's rental charge. No-Show: If you fail to pick up the vehicle at the scheduled time without prior notice, any pre-paid amount may be forfeited. 4.2. Rental Extension To extend your rental, you must contact us before the original scheduled drop-off time. Extensions are subject to vehicle availability and potentially a revised daily rate based on current pricing. 5. Accident and Emergency Procedures In case of an accident, damage or theft: Ensure the safety of all parties. Contact local law enforcement immediately and obtain a police report. Notify Grab Rental Car immediately. Failure to provide a police report or failure to notify us in a timely manner may invalidate your insurance.
